DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS
SACARE provides world-class housing and support services for people living with disability, and The Gums will further build on our commitment to outstanding care. Our newest property will support people who need high-quality health care, injury recovery and transitional services for the short, medium or long term. It will set a new standard in care for people living with disability.
At The Gums, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering bespoke treatments focused on our clients and returning them to their full potential. Many companies say they deliver person-centred care, but we live it, and we need the best staff to deliver it!
We could write a novel on why we're so excited about our new venture, but in short we get to work in one of the finest facilities in the country where we will provide customised and individualised treatment and supports, backed up by cutting-edge technology. Regular shifts, a mix of client needs, a focus on building our clients' capabilities and working with a range of allied health professionals are just a few of the reasons you'll love working with us. Casual and permanent shifts are likely to be on offer, so please let us know your preference.
So if you are an experienced and passionate Support Worker who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity to be a part of a fantastic team, then you've found it at The Gums! We will provide some training, but we ask that you have appropriate qualifications (minimum Certificate III), a DCSI clearance, manual handling and current first aid training.
