COVID-19 Mental Health Services
As a part of the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line, there is now a new online chat function available. This service was created to support the mental health and wellbeing of the South Australian community during the COVID-19 pandemic. People feeling distressed, isolated or needing additional mental health support, can use the new function to chat online with Uniting Communities’ mental health counsellors. The service is available at SACOVIDMentalHealth.org.au and is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Support is available by phone or video call, it is also available by calling 1800 632 753 during these hours. GPs and other service providers who would like to arrange a follow-up call for their clients from this service, they can call (08) 8202 5117.
If you are feeling down, stressed and feel like you need some support, please take advantage of these services. Remember to stay safe and look after yourself, friends and family.
