Comprehensive Assessment and Reporting

In a recent case, we demonstrated our thorough approach to providing a legal firm with the required evidence to support a legal case of inadequate supports due to inadequate funding:

Initial Assessment:
A client initially received 4 hours of weekly NDIS support. However, we recognised the need for a more extensive evaluation and proposed a 24/7 observation over a week to gain a full picture of the client’s needs.
Service Provision and Reporting:
After obtaining the family’s agreement and signing a service agreement, we provided the necessary care and conducted an in-depth assessment over a 7 day period using a 24/7 model of care. This involved:

Summarising the client’s patterns and daily needs.
Recommending appropriate programs and allied health practitioner involvement.
Compiling a comprehensive report detailing hourly care needs and long-term support requirements.
