Why It's Important to Go Out and See Different Things

If you follow SACARE on social media, you would have seen that Briarholm resident Alice Waterman loves to get out and about. This week Alice’s blog is all about why she likes to go out do things, (especially to go out and see musicals).

Why I Think it is Important to Go Out to See Different Things

By Alice Waterman

I think that it important to go out and be social, because without going out we can all get a little sad!

I believe that we can all learn different things from popular musicians (like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift). From topics on love, to being kind to people. You can read more about how one of Ed's songs has inspired me here. I love going to concerts because the energy feels amazing!

It doesn’t matter who you are, but I think that you should try and see a musical at some point in your life! They can help us to forget about problems in everyday life and remind you to have fun and to not take life too seriously.

I recently saw The Wizard of Oz, and I like how when I go to see musicals they make me feel like anything can happen if we just believe they can. I like how musicals take us to different worlds where you can just be yourself!

I think that if people were able to get to know each other, for who they really are, like the characters in musicals do, the world would be a better place to live.

Something I think we should take away from watching musicals is that people are different. It doesn't matter what clothes we wear or what we look like. I think that we should respect one another, and celebrate each other's individuality.

For my final point, in case I haven't got it across already ;-), I would like to say that musicals are VERY cool to see. I think that everyone should go to see them more often. Alright, that's it for now, go out and have fun! See you next time :-)

Love Alice

Here is a video that I recently made, it shows you exactly the kinds of things I get up to on my adventures! Enjoy.
