COVID-19 Mental Health Services

As a part of the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line, there is now a new online chat function available. This service was created to support the mental health and wellbeing of the South Australian community during the COVID-19 pandemic. People feeling distressed, isolated or needing additional mental health support, can use the new function to chat online with Uniting Communities’ mental health counsellors. The service is available at and is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Support is available by phone or video call, it is also available by calling 1800 632 753 during these hours. GPs and other service providers who would like to arrange a follow-up call for their clients from this service, they can call (08) 8202 5117.

Flu like symptoms?

All South Australians with cold or flu symptoms will be able to access COVID-19 testing as part of a two-week testing blitz from 16 April to 30 April 2020.If you have COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose or shortness of breath, you can be tested for COVID-19 as part of the blitz.Low case numbers in recent days means we have an opportunity and the capacity to test a broader section of the community.For more information on how and where to get tested, visit:
