COVID-19 Updates: Playgrounds are to re-open in SA

There are only 7 active cases of Coronavirus in South Australia. SA Health has stated that public parks and playgrounds are to re-open in South Australia. Please check with your local council for details on your nearest playground. There are no other news with regards to restrictions.

COVID-19 Mental Health Services

As a part of the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line, there is now a new online chat function available. This service was created to support the mental health and wellbeing of the South Australian community during the COVID-19 pandemic. People feeling distressed, isolated or needing additional mental health support, can use the new function to chat online with Uniting Communities’ mental health counsellors. The service is available at SACOVIDMentalHealth.org.au and is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Support is available by phone or video call, it is also available by calling 1800 632 753 during these hours. GPs and other service providers who would like to arrange a follow-up call for their clients from this service, they can call (08) 8202 5117.
